CodeTherapy joined forces with Dr. Mulugeta’s research group in Ethiopia to build an on-device ML model for complete blood count (CBC) analysis using low-cost, smartphone-mounted microscopes.
Our software-hardware co-development team created an image-processing pipeline capable of identifying and counting blood cells in live microscope feeds. This portable solution empowers rural health workers to perform essential hematology tests without reliance on centralized labs.
